ENTP personality

Pivot is Typewell's name for ENTP. The letters are Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving. Extraverted: you think out loud. A silent room can feel like a dead battery. Intuitive: you hop to the angle nobody booked. Thinking: you'll break a cute idea if it's inconsistent, even if the room liked it. Perceiving: you keep forks on the table. Together that's a prototype machine. Prototype machines still need someone to pick a screw. This page isn't a license to debate a partner's feelings as if they signed up for a panel. It isn't the official MBTI® and it isn't a diagnosis.

An ordinary day is a stack of live threads. You try the counterfactual at dinner. You start a company in a notebook. You win a point and lose the mood. The accidental product is a real pattern: you were only arguing, and now there's a landing page. Growth is staying for the unglamorous second month, or honestly handing the thing to a Helm or a Ledger who likes hinges.

At work you need a problem that can still move: early product, reporting, law that is argument, research that is debate, entrepreneurship, teaching that is Socratic, comedy, strategy that is allowed to fork. You stall in a bureaucracy that treats questions as disloyalty. You also stall if every job becomes a bit. Get a partner who likes shipping. They're the reason anyone will ever use the idea.

In love you're playful, loyal in a sideways way, and at risk of treating a feeling as a hypothesis. Feelings are data, not a debate motion. 'You're right that it hurt' before a better frame will save more evenings than another clever angle. You can still be funny. Funny after the landing, not instead of it.

A common mistake is that ENTPs can't commit. Many commit hard to a person, a craft, a fight. They just won't pretend a dead idea is alive. Another mistake is that you and INTP are the same nerd. Their board ate dinner in private. Yours ate the dinner party. Read both. Type Compass is a sketch. Fork the idea. Don't fork the people who needed you to stay.

If you already have a graveyard of almost-products, the career move is staying in the boring middle of one of them. A new angle will arrive on day four. Write it down. Don't start it.
