ENTJ personality

Helm is Typewell's name for ENTJ. The letters are Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. Extraverted: you think toward the world. A quiet week can feel like a stalled engine. Intuitive: you skip to the structure of next year. Thinking: fairness is a consistent rule, not a mood. Judging: you want owners, dates, a closed loop. Together that's a person who will write the agenda if nobody else will. That's how things move, and how people feel run over if you skip the human sentence. This isn't a permission slip to be a cartoon tyrant, and it isn't a guarantee of a corner office. It isn't the official MBTI® and it isn't a diagnosis.

An ordinary day is a sequence of targets. You batch the calls. You hate a meeting that exists to prove care. You'll take the ugly decision so the group can stop hovering. The agenda-before-the-meeting is respect for time, plus a quiet assumption that everyone else also wanted a war room. Some of them wanted coffee first. Growth is two minutes of faces before you land the plan.

At work you want authority that matches responsibility. General management, founding, operating, law, surgical leadership, producing, command roles, campaigns. You wilt as a decorative leader with no actual helm. You also wilt if your only tool is pressure. Hire people who will tell you the plan is cruel or wrong. That's how ships miss rocks.

In love you provide, plan, and sometimes conduct. Partners may feel like a department. Put the baton down at the door. Ask what they want that can't be optimized. You can still run a company. You can't run a person without turning the house into a shop. They'll leave, or they'll become staff. Neither of those is a marriage.

A common mistake is that ENTJs don't feel. You feel a stall in your teeth. You may not think a feeling is a good argument by itself. Another mistake is that you and INTJ are the same commander. They draw in a private office. You move the room. If you're fighting about pace, you're fighting Extraverted and Introverted, not about who is 'more strategic.' Type Compass is a sketch. Steer. Also eat with the crew.
