Craft is Typewell's name for ISTP. The letters are Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Perceiving. Introverted: the real shop is inside, or in a garage with the door half down. Sensing: you trust what you can take apart, time, weigh, and try. Thinking: the model should hold, even if the room wanted a story. Perceiving: you keep tools out and plans loose until the problem shows its real face. Together that's the person who takes the lock apart on a Sunday. Other people call it avoidant. An ordinary day is competence in private. You notice the sound a hinge shouldn't make. You'd rather send a photo of the fix than a paragraph about your feelings. You show up in a crisis of things and vanish in a crisis of meetings. Growth is a few sentences on purpose so the people you like don't have to reverse-engineer you like a lock.

At work you want a problem with moving parts: technician, paramedic, mechanic, procedural medicine, physical engineering, a line cook, instrument tech, code that talks to hardware, field work with a kit. You wilt in a role that is only slides. You also wilt if nobody ever lets you close the door. Pair with a Ledger if the job needs logs. You won't become a spreadsheet by shame. You might become someone who writes the one page that lets the next person not start from zero.

In love you're loyal without a brochure. You fix the thing, you show up in the emergency, and you need a lot of un-narrated space. Partners may experience the space as a verdict. Clock it: 'I'm in the garage until six, then I'm yours.' A sentence is cheaper than a myth about whether you care.

A common mistake is that ISTPs are unfeeling or unambitious. Many of you feel in the hands and the timing, and you can be fiercely ambitious about a craft. Another mistake is that you and ISTJ are the same quiet competent adult. They want the lock logged and repeatable. You wanted to see the pins. Read the comparison.
