Free DISC personality test

Typewell ยท Updated October 5, 2026

A free DISC personality test is a question about Slack, not about your soul. Work Pulse scores four work habits: Drive, Signal, Steady, and Craft. You get a primary and a secondary. That pairing is the useful part. The quiz is free to finish, and it does not ask for an email first.

What to do with the letters

Drive wants a decision. Signal wants the room on board. Steady wants the plan not to thrash. Craft wants the document to be right. If you are Drive with a Craft second, you will push and then stall on the details. Read both. Don't introduce yourself as a letter in a meeting and stop there. The how-to-work notes are for a teammate, not a hiring pile.

What it is not

It is not a certified DiSC assessment, and it is not a screen for candidates. Don't paste it into a job application. If the question is the work itself, not how you talk about it, take Job Lean. If the question is who you are on Sunday, this is the wrong quiz.

Questions

Is this the official DiSC test?
No. Work Pulse uses the same four-way idea. It is not their instrument and you cannot get certified from it.
Can I use this to hire someone?
No. It is not a hiring test. It is a sketch of how someone likes to work.
Is the free result the whole result?
You see the primary and secondary. The longer writeup is separate and paid.

For thinking about yourself. Not a diagnosis. Not the official MBTI test.
