Fight, flight, freeze, or fawn

Fight, flight, freeze, or fawn is the habit that shows up when something gets tight. Fight pushes back. Flight leaves, physically or into the next tab. Freeze goes blank and can't pick. Fawn smooths the other person until the moment passes. Stress Style is a short quiz for which one you reach for first. It is not a trauma assessment and it will not tell you what happened to you.
How to use the result
Name the last tense moment you remember: a Slack message, a raised voice, a bill. Which move did you make in the first minute. That scene matters more than the label. If fawn is the winner, notice what you agreed to that you didn't mean. If freeze is the winner, notice the decision that sat there for a week. The quiz is free. The longer notes are the paid writeup.
What it will not do
It will not diagnose PTSD, anxiety, or anyone else in the room. If the week is unlivable, talk to a person whose job is care. A four-word habit is a flashlight. It is not treatment.
Questions
- Is this a trauma test?
- No. Stress Style is a habit sketch. It is not medical and not a trauma inventory.
- Can I have more than one stress response?
- Yes. People switch. The quiz names the one that scored highest in your answers.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. Finish it as a guest.
For thinking about yourself. Not a diagnosis. Not the official MBTI test.
