Attachment-style quiz, without the clinic
Twelve questions about closeness. You get Secure, Anxious, Avoidant, or Mixed. It's a sketch of a pattern, not a clinical attachment interview, and not a diagnosis.
What you’ll learn
- Whether a slow reply is just a slow reply
- Whether closeness makes you want to bolt
- Whether you swing between chasing and shutting the door
How scoring works
Four patterns, three questions each. We add the scores.
The highest is your result. Ties go Secure, then Anxious, then Avoidant, then Mixed.
People use the words secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganized for this. Mixed is our word for the swing. It is not a diagnosis.
A real attachment interview is a different thing, done by a person. This is a quiz.
Questions
- Is this a diagnosis?
- No. If closeness is wrecking your life, talk to a clinician. This page will not do that.
- Why 'Mixed' and not 'disorganized'?
- Disorganized is a clinical word. Mixed means you want people close and you also don't trust it. Same neighborhood. Not a label from a chart.
- Do I need an account?
- No.
