ENFJ vs ISFJ
Updated September 1, 2026
ENFJ (Hearth) and ISFJ (Keep) share some furniture and not others. Read both encyclopedia pages rather than forcing a winner. You set the extra chair before anyone says they're coming, and then you wonder why you're tired in your own house. There's a spare charger in the glove box because you've already lived the day someone needed one.
Hearth is Typewell's name for ENFJ. The letters are Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. Extraverted: the 'we' fills your pocket, until it empties it. Intuitive: you see the group's next chapter, the student they could become, the culture that hasn't happened yet. Feeling: harmony and dignity aren't extras. They're the work. Judging: you want the night to land — a plan, a role, a closed loop of care. Together that's a host who is also a project manager of belonging. That's a real job. It should sometimes be paid, and it should sometimes be off. This page isn't the official MBTI® and it isn't a diagnosis.
Keep is Typewell's name for ISFJ. The letters are Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging. Introverted: you refill in a quiet room, even if you spent the day attending to faces. Sensing: you remember how the person takes their tea, how the last crisis actually went, where the spare lives. Feeling: the decision has to sit well with the people you're responsible for. Judging: you close the loop — the form sent, the charger packed, the birthday not missed. Together that's a keeper of the small load-bearing facts. Families run on this. So do teams. So do you, until the tank is empty. This page isn't a hymn to self-erasure. It isn't the official MBTI® and it isn't a diagnosis.
